RIP TIP #3: “Belly-Button” to “Nipple Line”

Did you know that you are vulnerable to rip currents when you are at a depth of “belly-button” to “nipple line”? (those are not anatomical terms).

Like an iceberg, when humans swim in the water, most of our body is below the surface of the water. Lake currents take advantage of this opportunity, gain control and easily move us around.

If you do not feel that you are strong enough to swim in a strong current, it is best to stay out of the water.
